where i got it
originally, it comes from dr. wayne w. dyer. but i got it from wonder, a children novel (i'm on page 187 now). here's where i got it. wonder tells story of a kid with extraordinary facial issue. most people who meet him for the first time are either horrified or scared, often staring or looking away. the quote itself comes from the kid's teacher in his english class at school, which aligns with the main story. still, it annoys me up until now.
